Abstract: This collection contains the records of the Cajun Creole Cultural Center of Berkeley and materials related to Louisiana culture
collected by the Center's founder, Irene Tenney. Collection materials include audio and video recordings, books, festival
posters, and ephemera. The collection includes Tenney's monthly newsletter "Gossip Gumbo," which promoted Cajun cultural events
in the San Francisco Bay Area and nationwide. The collection also includes Tenney's photographs of Cajun folklife in Louisiana
in the 1980s and 1990s.
