Abstract: There is little information available about Todd Mason. During his career, he worked as an actor, did voice overs, and was
a newspaper writer. From 1968-1975 Mason was an associate of Mike Connors and worked for the television series Mannix. The
collection consists of writings, photographs, correspondence, and audio cassette recordings related related to his career.

Biography
There is little information available about Todd Mason. The following information was determined by the processor from materials
found in the collection. Todd Mason, also known as William Todd Mason, Todd Howland, and Todd Mason Howland received a BS
in Theatre from Florida State University and an MA in Theatre Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles. He worked
in theater as both actor and director and also appeared on television and in feature films. From 1968-1975, Mason was an associate
of Mike Connors and worked for the television series Mannix as an actor and doing voice-overs. He also wrote for the Transworld
Feature Syndicate, and contributed interviews on celebrities and political figures to the Chicago Daily News and The San Francisco
Chronicle among other publications.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of writings, photographs, correspondence, and audio cassette recordings related to the career of actor
and writer Todd Mason. Included are clippings and typescript copies of articles written by Mason; photographs of Mason and
others including Mike Connors and Jim Nabors; transcripts of interviews done by Mason with Robert Conrad, Mike Connors, Jim
Nabors, Steve Kanaly, and Lindsay Wagner; and letters and/or notes to and from Mason. Additionally there are one hundred-plus
audio cassette recordings. The tapes are described by information found on tape labels; some recordings may be related to
work and/or writing projects in which Mason was involved in some capacity; others appear to be personal in nature. Materials
in the collection are identified with the names Todd Mason, William Todd Mason, Todd Howland, and Todd Mason Howland.
