The Bennett & Bennett records span 3 linear feet and date from 1946 to 1973. The collection contains architectural drawings for the additions and alterations to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum that the Bennett & Bennett architectural firm designed.

Biographical / historical:

Bennett & Bennett, formally Bennett & Haskell, was an architectural firm located in Pasadena, California. The practice was a father and son partnership, Cyril Bennett (father) born in 1890 and Robert E. Bennett (son) born 1915. Some of the more prominent work done by this firm includes, the Physical Science Building at University of California Riverside, the Langendorf Bakery in East Los Angeles, and additions/alterations to the Memorial Coliseum in downtown Los Angeles, which began in the 1940s.
