In the wake of the Armenian Genocide, young G. Puzant was separated from his parents, deported from his homeland, and eventually relocated to Egypt, where he forged a career as a celebrated painter and was branded "King of Colors" by King Farouk. The overarching theme of his work is loneliness. Included are numerous printed articles/newspaper clippings on Puzant as well as photographs of him and his work. There is also handwritten correspondence between Samuelian and Puzant's relative as well as advertisements for his exhibitions and price lists.

Henrik Sargsian is an Armenian-born painter whose subjects feature brightly colored animals and plants as well as people in mystical settings.
