contains Hasso Von Winning's business papers, correspondence, manuscripts, and newspaper clippings from 1949-1998.

Biographical Note
Hasso Von Winning (1914-2001) was an archaeologist and anthropologist who was a widely-published scholar of Pre-Columbian
and West Mexican culture, publishing hundreds of monographs and articles from the 1960s through the 1990s. Von Winning was
the Consultant in Mesoamerican Archaeology with the Southwest Museum from 1960-1990s.
Scope and Contents
This collection contains Hasso Von Winning's papers from 1949-1998, including business cards, certificates, correspondence,
booklets, handbills, manuscripts, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, and photocopies of collected manuscripts.
Manuscripts by Von Winning in this collection include bibliographies, book reviews, manuscripts for publication, notes and
note cards. Von Winning's notes include an original watercolor by T. A. Willard pulled by Von Winning from MS.234 T. A. (Theodore
Arthur) Willard Collection.
