Description
Papers collected by Carl Thomas Butner during his career with Northwestern Pacific.
Background
Carl Thomas Butner was born in Missouri on August 10, 1899. In 1919, he began working for Northwestern Pacific. During his lengthy career he worked as a watchman, fireman, and locomotive engineer. He continued to work intermittently for Northwestern Pacific until 1963.
