Scope and Content of Collection
Handwritten indexes of Releases of Mortgages as recorded by the Yolo County Clerk-Recorder. The Releases cover the dates 1873-1927.
They include information on the name of the parties whose mortgage is being released, the parties releasing, the date the
release is filed, the book and page where the release is recorded (book and page number), the date the mortgage is to be released,
and finally where the mortgage released will be recorded (book and page number). The entries are sorted alphabetically by
the surname of the party being released.
