Biography/Organization History

Historical Note: The College Credit Program for Adults began under the University Institute as a pilot basis. The program offered a series of college credit and college level courses for adults. By 1975, the College of Adult Jewish Studies offered adults an AA degree in Jewish Studies and for those who wanted to go "beyond their AA degree towards a BA, continue with courses in Jewish Law, philosophy, religion and other areas". Henry Fisher served as the Coordinator of the Adult College.
