The Florence Mack Quicksilver Mining Co. was organized in 1905 at Hanford, to work a quicksilver mine about 7 miles south
of the New Idria mine. The directors were William Thompson, G. E., W. S., and J. O. Barton, and N. Wolfsgale. (Engineering
and Mining Journal, Volume 80, 1905)
