(1970-2015) contains correspondence, reports, newsletters, memoranda, photographs, and audio recordings relating to the activities
of the Народно-Трудовой Союз (NTS) and it its publishing arms, Посев and Грани, in 1980s and 1990s.

Biographical Note
Boris Pushkarev (Борис Сергеевич Пушкарёв, 1929-) is the émigré political activist and leader, a President of the Народно-Трудовой
Союз (NTS), a Chairman of the Russian Research Foundation for the Study of Alternatives to Soviet Policy, and an Editorial
Board Member of the Посев.
Scope and Content of Collection
The collection contains correspondence, reports, newsletters, memoranda, photographs, and audio recordings relating to the
activities of the Народно-Трудовой Союз (NTS) and it its publishing arms, Посев and Грани, in 1980s and 1990s.
Most of the papers relate to the period of the organization's transformation from the underground subservice society to a
legal entity in the Russian Federation in the 1990s.There is also detailed record of the working of the humanitarian activities
of the Russian Research Foundation in the post-Soviet Russian Federation in the 1990s, including correspondence and financial
records. Among the significant documents relating to the organization's history during this period are the sound recordings
of the NTS conventions in 1986 and 1989.It includes discussions by some leading Soviet dissidents, cultural and political
figures, such as Наум Коржавин, Валерий Аксючиц, Владимир Солоухин.
