This series includes Norris's research materials from various projects, including field notes, experiment data, research grant proposals, species accounts and catalogues, audiovisual recordings, reports, administrative files, illustrations, photographic prints and slides, and related correspondence. A significant portion of the materials focuses on Norris's work with dolphins and other cetaceans, namely the dolphins Baby Jean, Amiko, Keiki, Alice, Echo, Misha, Kathy, and Pono, and Boots and Bubbles the pilot whales. Research notes and reports from Norris's colleagues as well as field notes from his students during Field Quarter classes are also included in this series.
