Fair and similar transgender events nationwide, including photographs, fliers, newsletters, buttons, and pamphlets.
Background
Fantasia Fair is a conference for transgender and gender-nonconforming people. Founded in 1975, the Fair originally positioned
itself as an event for cross-dressers, but its scope expanded to keep pace with the changing understanding of gender-nonconforming
expression.
