Biographical / Historical

Per notes on folders, probably from donor, I. A. Wilcox was the founder of Wilcox Fruit Company. He bought property in Santa Clara and left his wife and children in the East Bay. There are a number of folders with correspondence between them in the collection.
One of I. A. Wilcox's sons, Dr. Walter I. Wilcox, took over the management of Wilcox Fruit Co. in the early 1900's. Another son, Harry Wilcox, had a printing company in San Jose; he died in 1924.
