Lyndon
, landscape architect and planner was born in 1914. She was a member of the Royal Town Planning institute and a Fellow of
the Landscape Institute in the United Kingdom. Beginning in 1957, Lyndon worked as a member of the Environmental Planning
Commission of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources. She also worked for twenty years
in the British planning department and ten years as a consultant in Southern California. Joyce Lyndon was married to the architect
Maynard Lyndon. She died at the age of 86, in 2000.
