Scope and content:

Newspaper and magazine clippings relating to Rogers' career and death, and to the numerous tributes and memorials to him after his death. All the clippings appear to have been collected at the time of his death in 1935 and in the years immediately following. Bound in leather with tooled portrait of Rogers on cover.

Biographical / historical:

Rogers was a circus and vaudeville performer turned movie actor. He was also a humorist and social commentator.
