Communist May Day "riots" in Tokyo, May 1952. VSs, policemen, demonstrators, casualties, overturned car - Yokohama Occupation license plate, shattered window of car. LAS, people on roof of the Dai Ichi bldg. American and UN flags fly from the top. An MP taking down license plate of damaged car. CU, Occupation license plate, Tokyo. Shots of the mobs. Policemen dash across the roadway in the park area to meet the strikers. Injured policeman is helped by two civilians and other policemen. Another injured policeman is helped by two of his colleagues. (unedited, silent) (1952)
