"FEAF Reports: May Day Riot Japan" Summary: 1) A large Communist rally is held in Japan (possibly Tokyo.) Speeches, people listening; parade with banners and slogans in Japanese Language; pictures of Stalin carried by marchers--men, women, and children. Riot in street. Japanese Peoples' Police, and American troops, plus Japanese Fire Dept. calm down the riot. American troops patrol streets, armed with rifles and fixed bayonets. Interesting subject matter. Poor quality pictures/transfer. (unedited, silent) (1947)
