SERIES 10) AUDIOVISUAL MATERIAL. Original and rare films and sound recordings documenting dives, training protocols, and lectures. Includes Scientific Diving Consultants' 1959 "Underwater Wonders," the original recording of Stewart's oral history interview with Eric Hanauer, and a video of Stewart's retirement lecture, "The History of Research Diving." Formats include 16 and 8mm film, one VHS, and references to digital files. Select films and sound recordings from the series have been digitized and are available upon request.

Starts with man holding up a young shark, then handling baby leopard sharks, then switches to an underwater scene of a shark swimming in kelp. Men examining a shark then cutting open its stomach to view the eaten contents. Scenes of captured sharks; beach covered in what looks like animal bones and remains, including shark heads and teeth. Film includes still image of a shark cage, shark cage in use, and a shark in the water. Film continues with scenes of underwater shots of stingrays, skates, and manta rays, sea lions on a beach, followed by Orcas at the surface of the ocean. Film ends with men baiting and lower bait into the water to feed sharks.
