Background

Scope and content:

The Pat Kalayjian Collection (1843-1942, undated) contains photographs and books belonging to Pat Kalayjian, associate professor of interdisciplinary studies at Cal State Dominguez Hills. The majority of photographs are military photographs of Ashford General Hospital in West Virginia and 1942 army training. Also included is an undated aerial view of Los Angeles and a panoramic class photo from Ranchito Grammar School in Pico Rivera, circa 1922-1924. Books are mainly focused on Christianity, including psalms and hymns, theology, and a Lutheran bible in German, as well as a book of poetry.
