Joan Dunning offered the materials to Humboldt State University Library through an informal discussion with Edie Butler in
Fall 2009. Ms. Dunning stated that they had not been sorted and may contain personal or family materials. Edie Butler agreed
to review the collection and some personal items were subsequently returned to Joan.
