Scope and Contents
This collection documents H-France's founding and development records and its operational and administrative records from
1992-2020. The files consist of reports, correspondence, by-laws, financial records, and other materials.
H-France is a scholarly organization promoting the study of French and Francophone history and culture online.
Conditions Governing Access
Some digital and physical files are restricted for a period of 20 or 40 years. They will become available on July 29th, 2041
June 18th, 2060 respectively. The materials are otherwise open for research. Note that material must be requested at least
36 hours in advance of intended use. Audiovisual & born-digital materials are not available in original format, and must be
reformatted to a digital use copy.
Conditions Governing Use
While Special Collections is the owner of the physical items, permission to examine collection materials is not an authorization
to publish. These materials are made available for use in research, teaching, and private study. Any transmission or reproduction
beyond that allowed by fair use requires permission from the owners of rights, heir(s) or assigns.
