Abstract: This collection consist of subject files on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender organizations and issues from the office of
former California State Senator Milton Marks. The collection includes a good deal of material on LGBT religious groups, racial
and ethnic groups within the LGBT community, parenting, politics and discrimination. There are flyers, mass mailings, correspondence,
newsletters and reports. Several documents include notes from Marks and/or his staff.

Collection is open for research. Mailing lists and other records holding the names, addresses, and/or phone numbers of individuals
will be restricted for 20 years.
