Scope and Contents
This collection of photographs documents Japanese American civic and family life in Fresno, California in the 1930s. Believed
to have been assembled by the Kayitani family, photos capture parades and civic groups including the Selma Japanese Association,
Selma Lodge no. 309 Odd Fellows Club, and Sanger Japanese Association. The family is shown in recreational and ceremonial
settings.
