The Ggreg Taylor papers document the political and cultural work of this San Francisco nightclub promoter and event producer. The bulk of the collection includes materials related to Boys With Arms Akimbo, a network of queer cultural activists. Types of materials include brochures; flyers; photographs of zaps and other political actions, events and friends; posters; press releases; promotional materials for Taylorโ€™s events; stickers and transparencies. There are also promotional materials related to the Lavender Tortoise Liberty Tour; a play, โ€œ3 coit tower,โ€ which was co-produced by Taylor and Dโ€™Arcy; business cards collected by Taylor; and one of his daily appointment books. Includes photographs of Phatima Rena Mcdonald, Kittly [Kitty] Litter, Jerome and many others.
