Scope and content:

This collection comprises flyers, paste-ups, newsletters, drawings, minutes and other material (bulk 1988-1994) from Harry D. Arends, primarily documenting the activities of the Los Angeles Waterpolo Team, a sexual fetish organization. The bulk of the collection is made up of erotic drawings, flyers and newsletters for the LA Waterpolo Team, as well as flyers for similar fetish-themed clubs and groups, including the Golden Shower Buddies.

Biographical / historical:

The Los Angeles Waterpolo Team was a members-only organization that met monthly to engage in sexual fetish activities related to urolagnia, or "water sports" in slang. According to a 1990 letter, the Waterpolo Team's mailing list consisted of 55 men, with an average monthly event attendance of 22 men.
