Scope and content:

Correspondence, maps and legal papers dealing mostly with mining and re-working ancient silver deposits in Hildalgo, Mexico, at Pachuca and Real del Monte, ca. 1920's-1940's. Mexican correspondence mostly with Attorney Evaristo Paredes. Oversize box contains three photos: including Pelton with Shirley Temple; and Pelton with Warner Baxter.

Biographical / historical:

Associated with National Mine in Nevada, later a prominent Los Angeles automobile dealer.
