    Scope and Content

Research files of Harry Arends, producer, director, and editor of numerous film and television specials from 1977 to 2001. The majority of these specials were for Walt Disney Productions, including Disney Sing-Along-Songs, The Best of Disney, and the Making of Walt Disney's Masterpieces. Files for both Disney and other material--such as clip segments for the Emmy Awards--include show rundowns with production numbers, research files, synopses, cast information and sometimes broadcast dates. Much of the Disney research was for repurposing animation using Disney footage to illustrate songs.

    Arrangement

The collection is divided into two series: Series 1. Disney (containing material related to Disney productions only) and Series 2. Other (not Disney) (containing files of non-Disney-related productions)
