Abstract: Linwood describes the suite: "black and white street photographs taken in the afternoons of 1990, mostly of San Francisco.
These twelve images document moments of sun-drenched, and in San Francisco's case fog-reflected, afternoon light. Their ethnographic
content and theatrical composition portrays city, monuments, reflections, and people enrapt in gritty commerces of gender,
race, style and power within a collage of visual difference."
