Scope and content:: The Dennis Kroll Collection (1853-2017; undated) contains 3.5 linear feet of material collected by Kroll that relates mostly to Compton history. A majority of the collection contains documents printed from Wikipedia and Ancestry.com, as well as photocopies of photographs, census records, books, and other material related to the land, institutions, landmarks, and people of Compton, California. Also included in this collection are yearbooks for Compton Senior High School, Compton Junior High School, Roosevelet High School and others; as well as family photographs.
Biographical / historical:: Dennis Kroll is a historian who was a graduate of Compton Senior High School (class of 1957). His wife, Barbara (née Baker) was also a graduate of Compton Senior High School (class of 1959).
Acquisition information:: Collection was donated with the cooperation of the Compton 125 Historical Society, 2018.
