Scope and content:: The collection contains ten issues of The Ebell: A Monthly Journal of Literature and Current Events, published from 1898 to 1899. The journal was edited by Grace Atherton Dennen and consists of poems, a serial story, essays, a song, and other fiction. Issues feature regular sections called “This is It,” “Among the Books,” and “Ebell Notes.” Photos and illustrations accompany some of the sections. Front and back pages contain advertisements.
