View shows a relatively unused portion of Yerba Buena Cove, including active and abandoned vessels which have been converted into storeships. In the foreground is the first ferry in the San Francisco Bay, ANTELOPE, inside a row of pilings and with her smokestack laid down, appears to be abandoned. Source: "Credit: Smithsonian Institution."
