A) The first article from the Illustrated Daily Herald, dated Oct. 28, 1924 has 6 photos of 4m schooner MELROSE and her crew and her captain F.J. Klebingat.

B) The second article from the San Francisco Examiner, dated Oct. 12, 1923 describes the arrival of the salmon packets and mentions the steamer ARCTIC, bark STAR OF ENGLAND and steamer LURLINE.

C) The third article from the San Francisco Chronicle, dated April 28, 1929, entitled, "Windjammer Sails", talks about the bark STAR OF HOLLAND and ship STAR OF ALASKA making their last trips to Alaska for salmon fishing for the Alaska Packers Association and plans to retire these last two sailing vessels.
