The A.F. Miller collection on aviation is one of several such collections acquired for USC Special Collections' Library of
Aeronautical History beginning in the 1960s. At that time, several airline officials and retired pioneers of the airline
industry donated historical materials on the subject of air transportation in the West. The collection consists of several
scrapbooks of clippings, plus loose clippings, related to airplanes and aviation-- chiefly from the 1940s-- in addition to
over 100 photographs of pilots, airplanes, airplane crashes, Zeppelins, balloons, parachutes, etc.
