    Biographical / Historical

    Robert Ichikawa was born in Fresno, California in 1925 and volunteered for the Army from Amache, CO when he was 18. He became a proud member of "E Co." 442nd RCT and fought in Italy and France. He passed away on 07/04/2011.

    Scope and Contents

    Robert Ichikawa was part of the 442nd RCT, E Company. These photos depict his time in Nice, France; Sospel, France; and Camp Shelby, Mississippi in 1944 and 1945.
    There are 14 photographs in total and show Robert's time in training at Camp Shelby as well as his E Company comrades in France.
