    Biography

    The Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) was an American trade association involved in labor relations, legislative affairs, and press and public relations for the film industry. In 1924, AMPTP was preceded by the Association of Motion Picture Producers (AMPP) and in 1982 was succeeded by the similarly named Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
