This series consists of documents created and accumulated by Martin Anderson while working on the Defense Manpower Commission. Documents span the years 1974 to 1977, with the bulk created between 1975 and 1976, which were the years Anderson served on the committee. They include correspondence, memorandums, meeting minutes and agendas, briefing books, printed matter, and a draft of the Defense Manpower Commission's final report. Major correspondents include commission members, defense officials, defense experts, and reporters.
