Record Series 309 includes general team files, press releases, team statistics, playing schedules, meet programs and news clippings arranged according to sport. Files range from media guides, game statistic sheets, box scores and NCAA statistics to releases in newspapers such as the Daily Bruin, Los Angeles Times and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF News).

The collection is organized into the following series:
Series 1 - Baseball.
Series 2 - Basketball.
Series 3 - Crew.
Series 4 - Cross Country/Track & Field.
Series 5 - Football.
Series 6 - Golf.
Series 7 - Gymnastics.
Series 8 - Soccer.
Series 9 - Swimming/Diving/Water Polo.
Series 10 - Tennis.
Series 11 - Volleyball.
Series 12 - Assorted Athletics (to be assigned other series designation as needed).

This is an active Record Series; additional University records are expected to be added.
