Description
The Punk archive contains materials relating to the punk scene of the late 1970’s and 1980’s. Flyers depict punk bands and famous punk venues from San Francisco and Rancho Cucamonga. These flyers display unique art and designs representative of the punk movement. In addition, there is a newsletter from Orange, California encouraging peaceful resistance to police brutality aimed at punks and a collection of zines from MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL. This collection was purchased in 2013 from an antiquarian bookkeeper and additional materials were purchased from various bookkeepers in the years following.
