Scope and content:

1 box containing awards, photographs, correspondence and misc. work files of Richard Beindorf. Dates span 1976-1987.

Biographical / historical:

Richard Beindorf (1933-2017) served as a Graduate Advisor and lecturer for the graduate degree program in Medical and Biological Illustration in the early 1980s. He was also a videographer and photographer for UCSF, documenting medical procedures. He directed the films, "On Becoming a Nurse Psychotherapist" (1969) and "Watch us Move"(1975) for UCSF's School of Nursing. "On Becoming a Nurse Psychotherapist" can be found in AR 91-59, UCSF Educational Films collection. He worked on the film "Chemical carcinogenesis: the staging theory" (1979) which recieved numerous awards and recognitions.

This collection was donated to the UCSF Archives and Special Collections by Charles Morse in 2018.

Collection is open for research.
