Description
The American Beekeeping Federation succeeded the National Federation of Beekeepers Association in 1949. It was created to
establish target prices and a comprehensive marketing program for honey, to control the theft of apiary equipment and bees,
and to advance the study of apiculture in higher education. The collection contains correspondence, financial records, printed
materials, and membership cards.

to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the Head of Special Collections. Permission for publication
is given on behalf of the Regents of the University of California as the owner of the physical items. It is not intended to
include or imply permission of the copyright holder, which must also be obtained by the researcher.
