Henry A. Barclay, Los Angeles lawyer, was born in Pennsylvania, engaged in surveying work as a young man, and came to California
in 1874. He began his practice of law in Los Angeles in 1875 and dealt mainly in land law, including Spanish and Mexican land
grants.
