Files on business management associations, predominantly from California, gathered by the San Francisco Employers Council
Department of Research and Analysis for professor Sumner Slichter of Harvard University to prepare him for his late 1940's
study of labor relations on the Pacific Coast. Files include responses to a request for information issued by Bill Storie
of the Northern California Employers Association Joint Research Service. Respondents were asked to include the following information
about their organization: historical review; articles of incorporation; constitution and by-laws; analysis of functions and
services; basic problems confronting the organization; and any comments they cared to make.
