The University Archives and Campus History Collections at Califonia State University, Northridge solicited submissions from the campus community to share their experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic in order to create the CSUN Covid-19 Community Archive Collection.

Background

Scope and content:

At the onset of the Covid-19 global pandemic in March 2020, University Archives and Campus History collections initiated a collecting project, asking the university community to assist by submitting donations to the CSUN Covid-19 Community Archives. Students provided many of the submissions as course assignments.

The collection consists of audio, video, image, and text files and is arranged by the last name of donor. Several donors asked that the archives withold their names, they are listed as anonymous. Some donations have had a time restriction placed upon access. Those restrictions have been noted in the content list.
