Series Scope and Content

This series contains materials related to the memoir that Wallace wrote about his life. The bulk of the series is comprised of typescripts for the memoir. The title of the work is The Memoirs of James Merrill Wallace, Plant Pathologist, 1902-1979: From Mississippi Boyhood to World Renowned Citrus Scientist. There is also a bound volume of the memoir, printed posthumously in 2007, with a forward by his daughter, Jane Wallace.
