This collection documents the activist work of David McElhatton. It includes two binders containing organizing material and ephemera from numerous activist groups and efforts, such as the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), Prop 8, and the National Equality March. Materials in the binders include flyers, photographs, correspondence, conference materials, legal records, organizing materials, and other ephemera. The collection also includes LGBTQ activist buttons and t-shirts.

David McElhatton is a trans activist who has worked with GetEqual; One Struggle, One Fight; the Transgender Law Center, Basic Rights Oregon, and Greenpeace on LGBTQ political actions such as the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), Prop 8, and the National Equality March.
