The collection consists of the papers of Jeanne O'Connor Graffy, who served as a member of the Santa Barbara Planning Commission, Santa Barbara City Council, and the Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors. Materials date from 1949 to 2017.
Materials within these papers include files pertaining to the issues of the day in Santa Barbara County and the City of Santa Barbara such as building, land use and development, landmarks, retail and economic growth, and infrastructure. Also included are materials related to ballot measures, as well as meeting agendas, correspondence, and notes generated in the course of Jeanne Graffy's activities in office.
