This collection contains three correspondence from SSgt D.F. Constantine, USA, to his wife Virginia A. Constantine during
the Second World War.
Background
Staff Sergeant Dennis Forest Constantine, United States Army (1/1/1915 - 3/31/1998) served in the 66th Medical Division, 520th
Medical Clearing Company during the Second World War. After he enlisted on October 5, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky, he saw
action in Belgium, France and Germany in 1945. According to Army enlistment records on Ancestry.com, he and Virginia were
unmarried at the time of his enlistment.
