    Rev. Samuel Slocombe was the first pastor for Cayucos Presbyterian Church and was married to Jane Brake Kington of Bristol, the sister of Capt. James Cass, the pioneer settler of Cayucos.

    The Reverend Samuel Slocombe Papers contain a select few examples of his personal and financial papers during his tenure in the coastal town of Cayucos, California. The collection is unarranged and remains in original order.
