    Biographical / Historical

The Brox Sisters were an American trio of singing sisters during the 1920s and 1930s. The trio included the Brock sisters, later changed to Brox for show business, Lorayne "Eunice" Brock Hall (11/11/1901 - 6/14/1993), Josephine "Bobbe" (11/28/1902 - 5/2/1999), and Patricia "Kathleen" (6/14/1904 - 8/27/1988). The sisters were born in Iowa and Indiana and grew up in Tennessee.
NOTE: spellings of these names come from several sources and may be inaccurate. For instance, Lorayne is spelled as such on her headstone (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/7409776/lorraine-brox) but spelled "Lorraine" in several publications included in the collection.
Henry Busse, Sr. (5/19/1894 - 4/23/1955) was a German-born jazz trumpeter who emigrated to New York City and later California.
