Folder 1 – Letters of Recommendation

Physical Description: This folder contains two letters of recommendation from Guy M. Irwin (Consolidated Aircraft Corp. Flight Engineer) and B. J. Ostergaard (Ostergaard Aircraft), both in September, 1942.
 

Folder 2 – Correspondence and Postcards

Physical Description: This folder contains eleven envelopes, five postcards, and three letters. The letters are to his family at home. The letters and envelopes are signed or marked from 1948 – 1969.

Physical Description: Department of Commerce Civil Aeronautics Administration Bill of Sale for a Fairchild M-62A for $10.00 (Ten) from Harrington B. Christie to Morten C. Jorgensen on January 12, 1951.

Physical Description: 1. Civil Air Patrol appointed Morten C. Jorgensen, California Wing a pilot on March 7, 1950. 2. One shareholder certificate in the name of “M.C. Jorgenson” for the San Diego Flying Club

Physical Description: 1. Burgundy Colored Pilot Log Book, Morten Jorgensen, Ostergaard Aircraft Works, dating from November, 1929 to February, 1945. Included are two papers – a Temporary Airman Certificate and a Rating Record for Morten Christian Jorgensen. 2. Dark Turquoise Aircraft log and Maintenance Record for a Fairchild M-62A dating from July, 1945 to May, 1951. 3. Red Engine Log and Maintenance Record dating from July, 1945 to May, 1951.

Series VI – Miscellaneous

Physical Description: 1. Two pages of rescue symbols and instructions for pilots who have crashed. 2. General Information for Buena Vista Hunting & Fishing Club in Baja California. 3. Hunting map of Baja California from the Buena Vista Gun Club. 4. Thank you letter of from the San Diego Aerospace Museum. 5. Letter of acknowledgement and conditions signed by Morton Jorgenson. He donated a Hydraulic Pump in July 21, 1981.
